RCI Inservice training & Sensitization of key functionaries of State Government Officials, local bodies & other Service provides in collaboration with RCI and Bethany Society at Bethany Society, Shillong on 23rd & 24th February, 2017

23rd & 24th February, 2017:The Office of the Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities, Meghalaya in collaboration with the Bethany Society, Laitumkhrah, Shillong, held a two day State Level In Service Training and Sensitization workshop for State Government officials and other service providers on 23rd-24th Feb 2017 at Bethany Society, Laitumkhrah, Shillong.

The workshop was attended by senior level officials from various departments of the State Government and other service providers. In all there were 20 participants. The objectives of the workshop was to create awareness about the rights and entitlements of Persons with Disabilities, about the provisions meant for them in various schemes and developmental programmes of the Government, and the various ways and means to access these entitlements by them, so that they get their due share as citizens of the country.
