Inspections of different NGOs working for the Welfare of Persons with Disabilities

The Office of the Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities in the year 2016-17 carried out various inspections of different NGOs working for the welfare of persons with disabilities for the wholesome implementation of persons with disabilities Act. 1995. Some of the NGOs which were inspected include Bethany Society, Asha School, etc that aim to help in the development of the disabled section of society.

During the visits of Ministry Officials like Shri. O.P. Dogra, Director, MOSIE, DePWD, Dr. Kamlesh Kumar, Chief Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities, Shri. Sanjay Kant Prasad, Deputy Chief Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities along with the Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities inspected many of the NGOs and other agencies.
